Purpose: The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) maintains www.511DFW.org and the associated 511DFW mobile application as a public service. This policy describes the NCTCOG’s privacy practices regarding information collected from users of the website and mobile application.

Information We Collect & How We Use It: Information collected through www.511DFW.org and the associated 511DFW dotstream application is used solely for the purpose of delivering the services provided thereby. Users of www.511DFW.org may optionally create a profile containing their name, e-mail address, and phone number. This information is used for authentication to the platform and for optional communication with users, such as notification of traffic events.

The following information is collected for all incoming web requests to assess what information is of most interest to users, determining technical design specifications, monitoring system performance, and identifying problem areas:
